What are cARTs?

cARTs are vehicles creatively transformed into moving works of art! Think "art cars." These can be motorized or non-motorized but do not include traditional floats. cARTs are vibrant, fun, and often illuminated, bringing an exciting and colorful presence wherever they go.

Last year, local artists, creatives, and dreamers were invited to showcase their wildest imaginations in the form of mobile art vehicles. From a bicycle fashioned with giant butterfly wings to a golf cart transformed into an alligator, or even a car enthusiast's ultimate creation, the cARTs entries promise to be a visual delight for all ages. Each entry was judged on creativity, execution, performance, and artistic achievement, with cash prizes awarded to the top contenders. Every entry incorporated lights to highlight its design, and “dazzled” the audience as it rolled down the parade route.
