The Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade takes place in Uptown, Charlotte along Tryon Street. The Parade will begin at 9th Street and end at Good Samaritan Way.

The Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade will step-off at 5:45 p.m. and air live on WCCB at 6:00 p.m.
The Parade will happen rain or shine.

The Novant Health Thanksgiving Parade will take place on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
Parade Route: The 2024 parade route will begin at 9th Street and end at Good Samaritan Way along Tryon Street.
Parking: Ample parking is available around Center City with differing prices. Click here for more information.
Seating: Bring your own chair to secure your spot or purchase a seat in our VIP seating.
Join the Cast: Volunteer to participate in the parade as a balloon handler or costume walker. Sign up here.
Food & Drink: There will be several of our Tryon Street vendors offering food and hot/cold beverages.
Parade Broadcast: The parade will air LIVE on WCCB. More information to follow.
Parking
Uptown Charlotte has lots of parking options with approximately 50,000 spaces available on-street and in privately-managed decks and lots. Many of these spaces will be available at market rates on Thanksgiving Eve. For more parking information, click below. You can also take the LYNX Blue Line, CityLYNX Gold Line or ride a Charlotte B-cycle, all of which provide easy access to the parade route.
Seating
The Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade is a free event. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs and line Tryon Street from 9th Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. However, if you wish to reserve a seat that will be ready for you upon arrival, you may purchase VIP tickets.
